hi + happy Tuesday!

I've finally managed to get this out on Tuesday in part because today is actually sunday and i am working ahead, which I rarely do, preferring to be in the process vs. too far in front of it. 

on sundays we get the new york times delivered to the bottom of our driveway. Pete, our 11 yr old black Lab fetches it, along with the daily Santa Fe New Mexican. Six days a week he has one paper; Sundays he has to fit two in his mouth. the determination with which he attempts this feat is a sight to behold--an acrobatic combination of flipping, dropping, tossing, dragging, and snatching. a few weeks ago, Pete high-stepped it up the hill with the Times horizontal in his mouth and the slimmer New Mex dangling in its plastic sleeve, snared precariously on one canine, skimming the ground.
